Designed for street dancers and musicians, the new JVC RD-R2 BoomBox is equipped with a microSD/SDHC slot, allowing you to store and play music from a memory card of up to 32GB of storage capacity. The JVC RD-D2 comes equipped with a couple of 2.5-Watt speakers and several special features such as a countdown timer, a USB port, an FM tuner, a guitar input, a KORG/metronome tuner and an automatic hand clapping feature to help get you into the rhythm. What makes this BoomBox special is that it can record music through a built-in stereo mic. The JVC RD-D2 BoomBox is also compatible with MP3/WMA/linear PCM (WAV) and AAC file formats. The new JVC RD-R2 BoomBox will be released in Japan next month for around $460.
