A new 4-bay NAS server is about to enter the market, this time from Synology called the DiskStation DS411slim. Designed for small businesses and home users, this compact NAS device is equipped with a 1.6GHz processor, a 256MB DDR3 RAM and can accommodate up to four 2.5-inch SATA hard drives, solid state drives or hybrid hard drives for a maximum of 4TB of storage space. In terms of connectivity ports, it comes with Gigabit Ethernet, eSATA and two USB 2.0, and is pre-loaded with DiskStation Manager 3.0. The DiskStation DS411slim will start shipping next month for unannounced price yet.
